With 2020 being the year of unpredictable events, many supply chain professionals are looking to make a fresh start in the new year. Supply chains are regrouping to get themselves back on track or build on any gains they made over the past year.

Organizations can start the process by benchmarking their supply chain planning performance. To do this, they should define their processes and then identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with their strategic goals. They can then compare their performance on these measures to that of other organizations.

APQC recommends four high-level KPIs that reveal how organizations are doing on their planning.
