The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), with a focus on organizational transformation, talent development, and supply chain innovation, announced the ASCM Supply Chain Tour, a series of in-person events across North America. The 16-date tour will offer one-day, in-person networking and educational events focused on either integrated business planning or sourcing, procurement and supply.
The ASCM Supply Chain Tour begins in Chicago on April 4 and will be held in various cities across North America throughout the year. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with leading practitioners, technologists, industry experts and peers to learn about the most impactful trends in the supply chain industry.
“The ASCM Supply Chain Tour gives us the chance to educate and engage with individuals on key industry trends beyond our ASCM CONNECT annual conference,” said ASCM CEO Abe Eshkenazi, CSCP, CPA, CAE. “In addition, the smaller group format will enable attendees to network on a more personal level with those within their local areas.”
Hosted by Peter Bolstorff, executive vice president of innovation and business intelligence at ASCM, the forum-style events will feature a variety of thought leaders in each city including Actylis, Amazon Web Services, Cardinal Health, Energizer Holdings, Sonoco and UScellular. In addition to supply chain trends, themes will focus on digital capabilities, metrics, benchmarks, analytics, talent development, transformation and leadership.
This June, ASCM will take its expertise international with its first-ever ASCM CONNECT 2023: Europe in Brussels, Belgium where attendees will learn from leading industry experts. ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America will take place this September in Louisville, Kentucky and feature educational sessions, interactive innovation labs, exhibits and keynote speakers.
