A new book from five supply chain experts at Kearney is being positioned as a “guide to navigating the supply chain turmoil of recent years.”
Strong Supply Chains Through Resilient Operations explores five principles - empowering the supply base, operating for the customer, building resilient teams, combining AI with human judgment, and embracing sustainability – that can be used to transform a operations strategy.
Available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other sellers, and published by Wiley, the book is co-written by Suketu Gandhi, global co-lead, operations and performance at Kearney; Michael F. Strohmer, global co-lead and Europe lead, operations and performance at Kearney; Marc Lakner managing partner DACH, and member of the European leadership team at Kearney; Tiffany Hickerson, partner at Kearney in the operations and performance practice group; and Sherri He, managing director and partner, Kearney Greater China.
The book addresses the lessons learned from the first few years of this decade – namely that supply chains are fragile. The outcome is that businesses are more focused on resilience than ever before, and the authors attempt to provide practical, hands-on knowledge on how to implement resilience in operations while growing profitability.
Inside, readers will see real-world examples and be given in-depth details from materials published by Kearney, including information from Kearney’s Supply Chain Institute, Kearney’s Factory of the Year program, Kearney’s Product Excellence and Renewal Lab (PERLab), and the Kearney Consumer Institute.
