Kammel is an accomplished Intellectual property attorney and professor, and human rights advocate. Rosemary Coates, Executive Director of the Reshoring Institute, hosts this episode of The Frictionless Supply Chain.
In this episode, we discuss the world of counterfeiting and its effects on global supply chains. Counterfeit products and parts are found everywhere and often cannot be easily distinguished from legitimate goods. Counterfeits can affect how your finished products operate and can present quality issues. Counterfeits can also be dangerous as they often are in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, e-cigarettes, sunglasses, automotive, aerospace, and others. Counterfeiters are criminals and may be supporting criminal enterprises such as human trafficking, drugs, arms trading, and terrorism.
