When pondering the title to this new blog, I stumbled on the Supply Chain and Operations Management Glossary. I was immediately drawn to the term “logistics curve” - defined as “a lazy S curve convenient for representing a variety of things.”
The subject of technology being so diverse, the definition seemed the perfect description of my contemplated tech-related musings. Et Voilà. The play on words “LogisTech” was born. So look for discussions specific to supply chain issues such as the varied legal and business issues in managing third party risk, supplier compliance with standards and policies, brand protection when outsourcing product manufacture or distribution, contract terms and negotiation. But also look for time-sensitive items and those of more general interest that SCMR readers face every day, such as the latest internet scams, mobile app security, use of social media, data security and privacy, cloud computing or behavioral advertising. In no particular order. I welcome your feedback, questions and ideas anytime.
