One of Northern California’s most anticipated supply chain events gets underway this Friday, April 15, as the San Francisco Bay Area Roundtable (SFRT) stages its half-day seminar at the Poppy Ridge Golf Club in Livermore, California.
As one of the most active roundtables in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals arena, SFRT provides learning opportunities, access to innovation leaders, best-practices and the networking for supply chain professionals in the greater Bay Area, with regular dinner events, a Spring seminar and academic scholarships.
Friday’s agenda includes a keynote address by Gilles Leyrat, vice president, Transformation Programs, Personal Systems Group, Hewlett-Packard Company: “How HP has Created the World’s Largest, Sustainably Low Cost-High Performance Supply Chain.”
Next comes a panel discussion on “Technology Innovation in Apparel & Fashion: Industry Trends,” with case studies led by Walter Wilhelm, CEO, Walter Wilhelm Associates; Rick Horwitz, vice president, Solutions Development Bureau Veritas; and Gabrielle Sampietro, Walter Wilhelm & Associates.??
The final panel, “Innovation in Hi-Tech,” features Savitha Srinivasan, Partner, IBM Venture Capital Group; Catherine Moore, Director Business HR, Nokia; and Liam Casey, CEO, PCH International?
