What Affects Technology Adoption?

Despite the potential for benefits, organizations face barriers to technology adoption, such as budgetary constraints and a lack of consensus.

Organizations must first develop a robust S&OP process with buy-in that can then be supported by technology.

For some organizations, this means adopting integrated business planning (IBP), or advanced S&OP, which extends input for the S&OP process to additional business functions.

IBP can help organizations better manage risk while maintaining efficient processes.
