What Affects Technology Adoption?
Despite the potential for benefits, organizations face barriers to technology adoption, such as budgetary constraints and a lack of consensus.
Organizations must first develop a robust S&OP process with buy-in that can then be supported by technology.
For some organizations, this means adopting integrated business planning (IBP), or advanced S&OP, which extends input for the S&OP process to additional business functions.
IBP can help organizations better manage risk while maintaining efficient processes.
