For the first time, the NextGen Supply Chain Conference will be offering exclusive small-group, interactive sessions at the conference.
These sessions, limited to only 20 attendees, are included with conference registration, although each session will require pre-registration due to the limited seating opportunities. Once you complete your registration, a link will be provided to sign up for these special sessions. Each session is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis until they are filled.
Sessions will focus on women leaders in supply chain, change management, and how to build supply chain resiliency.
This year’s NextGen Supply Chain Conference, presented by Supply Chain Management Review and Peerless Media, will be held on Oct. 21-23 at the Chicago Athletic Association hotel in downtown Chicago. The event starts with an opening reception on the evening of Monday, Oct. 21, at the famous Chicago hotel, with full days of content following Tuesday and Wednesday.
The NextGen Supply Chain Conference’s theme this year is “Digitization is here, what’s next?” More information, including registration information, is available on the NextGen website.

Each of special small-group sessions will feature supply chain leaders and provide an opportunity for in-depth discussions designed to give attendees the opportunity to be part of the discussion.
The first session will kick off on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Titled, The Real Housewives of Supply Chain: Finance, Family, Anxiety, this session will be led by Amy T. Augustine, senior director of network supply chain for U.S. Cellular, and Amy Rardin, global senior director for Procter & Gamble. Augustine and Rardin will discuss their journeys in supply chain and lead attendees through a discussion on issues that impact women in supply chain, including how to be financially prepared, family prepared, and mentally prepared for a life in supply chain.
Also on Tuesday, Craig Moss, director of data and change management for the Digital Supply Chain Institute, will explain how multi-player video games can help companies institute the four critical lessons needed to successfully lead a transformation to a digital supply chain in his session titled, Four Lessons from Multi-Player Video Games to Navigate the Digital Transformation of Supply Chains. Moss will explain how video games can bring generations of workers from different cultures together to accomplish a single goal.
Moss will also present this same topic again on Wednesday, Oct. 23, for those that are unable to attend the Tuesday session.
The final small-group session will be led by Douglas Kent, EVP for corporate and strategic alliances at ASCM. Kent’s session, Charting the Course for Supply Chain Resilience, will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 23. In this session, Moss will provide an in-depth analysis of the multifaceted challenges confronting organizations, emphasizing that the concept of a singular “new normal” is a myth, and organizations must navigate persistent macro trends that test the adaptability and robustness of supply chains worldwide. Participants will be invited to engage in dynamic discussions and collaborative problem-solving exercises designed to foster innovative thinking. The presentation will also incorporate key insights from the ASCM’s Supply Chain Maturity Assessment.
