Shortly before staging the 98th Annual International Supply Management Conference & Educational Exhibit ion in Dallas this week, ISM received some valuable social networking exposure.

Bill Michels, Senior Vice President of the Institute for Supply Management and President of the ISM Services companies ADR North America and ADR China, was interviewed by Jon Hansen on BlogTalkRadio’s PI Window on The World show last week.

In March 2012, Jon Hansen interviewed Bill on the acquisition of ADR North America and ADR China by ISM Services. At that time, Jon stated he saw “the ADR acquisition by a for profit arm of ISM as a significant move in that it seemed to be a logical evolution or perhaps merging of complimentary competencies, that very likely represents the new consultancy model that will both define and drive procurement practice for the next 10 to 20 years.”

Now, a year later, Bill Michels was interviewed again by Jon Hansen. They discussed the acquisition, the 98th Annual ISM Conference in Dallas, the present course of ISM under Tom Derry’s leadership and the future of ISM. Bill discussed ISM’s new strategy, mission and customer focus.

This program outlines the strategies and processes that will take ISM from product driven to a customer driven organization, increasing the value to procurement and supply chain practitioners and their organizations worldwide.
