Organizations must carefully balance their environmental, social, and ethical impact when planning their sustainability efforts. Although many companies are prioritizing sustainability in their procurement processes, maintaining these efforts will rely heavily on their evaluation of internal processes and regular collaboration with suppliers.
Sustainability in supply chain, and procurement in particular, has shifted from being a practice that is nice to have to one that is essential. Although organizations are paying attention to the importance of adopting sustainability efforts, supply chain visibility and collaboration with suppliers are key to success.
