One of the factors linked to any organization’s health is employee retention.

With regards to employee retention, more than half of all respondents in the research study (see prior posting) say their organizations have employee retention problems. There was, however, an interesting disparity: Approximately 40% of top management rates their organizations’ employee retention as “fair” or “not good.” That percentage rose to greater than 60% for all other levels of respondent.

The study found a clear link between an organization’s “BTO score” (the ratings by its employees across all nine BTO principles), and employee retention.

Another factor linked to an organization’s health is employee morale.

With regard to employee morale:
• Approximately 40% of all respondents indicated that morale of their top management was Fair or Not Good.
• Approximately 50% of all respondents indicated that morale of their middle management was Fair or Not Good.
• Approximately 60% of all respondents indicated that morale of their non-supervisory personnel was Fair or Not Good.

The study found a clear link between an organization’s “BTO score” (the ratings by its employees across all nine BTO principles), and employee morale.
