In this episode, Ruyi Gaffney tells us about a strategic tool, CONNEX Marketplace. CONNEX is an online platform that brings manufacturers and customers together to do business. The marketplace is an exchange center or a meeting place that enables manufacturers to offer their products and reach potential buyers. It also helps buyers to find suppliers with current products and the potential capability to produce new products.
CONNEX Marketplace is rapidly being adopted by Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) programs across the country to solve many of the current supply chain issues by intelligently connecting small American manufacturers and suppliers to large primes, OEM’s and government buyers. Manufacturers and suppliers can quickly post and respond to needs, visualize supply chain risk, search for qualified suppliers and instantly discover new business opportunities.
