Ralphs-Pugh Co. was founded in 1912 as a distributor of rubber products, and later incorporated in 1921. Ralphs-Pugh manufactured its first conveyor rollers out of plastic in 1959, which utilized bushing style bearings. Soon after, metal balls in plastic raceways were developed, and in the 1980’s, metal rollers were added to the product line. With ever-increasing requirements for higher speeds, faster throughput and quiet systems came the companies first ABEC-1 precision bearings in conductive plastic housings.
