On October 17-19th, the NextGen Supply Chain Conference, presented by Supply Chain Management Review, brought together an impressive lineup of more than 150 industry leaders for two days of high-level presentations and case studies that covered the emerging supply chain technologies that are powering tomorrow’s supply chains, and enabling the digital transformation of supply chain processes.

“Our first live event since COVID, NextGen 2022 exceeded our expectations,” said Bob Trebilcock, editorial director of Supply Chain Management Review and host of the NextGen event. “We showcased senior leaders at some of the country’s best-known brands. They covered the breadth of supply chain management, from talent development to logistics and transportation, and the impact of emerging technology as diverse as robotics, AI and the metaverse on their supply chains.”

Trebilcock added that one of the highlights for him was the high level of audience engagement and networking among presenters, attendees and exhibitors.

The Annual NextGen Supply Chain Awards were presented on the first day. Leading solution providers and end users utilizing nextgen technologies in Robotics, Analytics, AI and Digital Transformation received rewards. Additionally, Supply Chain Management Review presented the Annual Visionary Award to Ignacio Arranz, Senior Vice President, North America Product Supply Innovation and Global Physical Distribution, Procter & Gamble. And the Startup Award went to Ally Lynch, CMO of Covariant.
