For the past seven years, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has produced the leading global survey of supply chain progress. Collaborating with Michigan State University (MSU) and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) this year, CSC will also be joined by Supply Chain Europe to enhance our global representation. The entire world continues to find ways to endure and even accelerate performance in historically turbulent economic times.
"We are interested in your actions and plans for your company and we welcome your contributions," said Brad Barton, Managing Director, CSC’s Supply Chain Practice. "We appreciate that everyone is busy these days, just keeping up with normal work, and that there are a slew of possible surveys to which one can make a response; but we are hopeful that as a supply chain professional, you will take the time to respond to what we believe is the definitive analysis of just what has been happening with supply chain efforts around the world.
SCMR readers will note that CSC has taken the time to develop a series of questions relating to just what firms have done to counter the negative effects of the global downturn. Moreover, they are asking what firms have done to offset what had to be difficult conditions relating to maintaining a supply chain.
"With your help, we can find what the successful efforts were and how they might apply to your business and ongoing efforts to move forward in the recovery period," added Barton.
The first 100 survey participants will receive an early entry gift along with a complete report of 2010 survey results – allowing them to compare their firm’s supply chain progress with others from a variety of industries around the globe.
Readers may submit responses to https://www.researchstar.com/supplychain2010/
"Your data will be treated confidentially and anonymously, and will only be reported in the aggregate summary," added Barton
