If you type leadership into Google, the search engine returns roughly 5.5 billion results in just 0.48 seconds. And that is probably just a fraction of the content available on the topic. It seems everybody knows about leadership or has an opinion on leadership. Radu Palamariu and Knut Alicke literally wrote the book on it.
“From Source to Sold: Stories of Leadership in Supply Chain,” provides a nice alternative to traveling around the country and shelling out thousands of dollars in conference fees and travel costs, and still provides the insight the leaders of tomorrow need today.
Palamariu is the managing director of Asia Pacific and Europe for Alcott Global and is the host of the “Leaders in Supply Chain” podcast. Alicke is a partner at McKinsey & Company and part of that firm’s global supply chain leadership team.
The two joined Talking Supply Chain host Brian Straight to discuss leadership traits and their book, which is told in a unique manner compared to other leadership books. “From Source to Sold” allows a who’s who of executives to tell their stories of leadership, lessons learned, and how to reach across the C-suite and business as a whole, in their own words.
