Reverse Logistics Association, a trade association offering information, research, solutions, and facilitating networking introductions for manufacturers, retail companies, and third-party providers, announced the appointment of Chris Rezendes of OnProcess to the RLA Advisory Board. This new role further emphasizes the RLA’s commitment to its members and the RL industry.
Chris Rezendes is the chief customer officer at OnProcess. A data-driven BPaaS organization that transforms service supply chains by making them more reliable, economical, sustainable, and efficient from beginning to end.
When choosing board members, the RLA not only looks at the individual but also at the company’s engagement with RLA. OnProcess has been involved with RLA since 2005 when they first joined as a company sponsor. Starting in that first year and each year since, OnProcess has attended hundreds of RLA events, webinars and participated in bringing new research and content to the RLA organizations and its members.
Chris joins the RLA Advisory Board bringing with him five years at OnProcess, where he and his team help companies realize their reverse logistics objectives. Before OnProcess, Chris held senior roles at Windham and Convergys. Chris also flew fighter jets for the United States Marine Corps for 16 years.
Commenting on the appointment, Tony Sciarrotta, executive director of RLA, said, “Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of RL and will no doubt be a tremendous asset to our Advisory Board.” Sciarrotta continued, “As the RLA grows, we constantly seek ways to adapt to the ever-changing industry. Chris’s reverse logistics knowledge and passion for our industry will strengthen our Board and community members with a vendor perspective. With the recognition of his comprehensive background knowledge, network, and deep experience, he will be instrumental in helping us further our goals of continuing to be the world’s authority on reverse logistics best practices.”
“I’m honored to have been asked to join the RLA Advisory Board and contribute by delivering valuable knowledge and insight to RLA members. I will further support the RLA’s global objectives by continuing to support members with Reverse Logistics best practices.” Rezendes said.
