Global Supply Chain Leaders to Gather at Bridges 2012

GT Nexus announced that its annual user conference, Bridges, will take place in Half Moon Bay, California, on June 3-5, 2012. This annual gathering of large enterprises and supply chain partners is the largest event of its kind, attended by companies with collective revenues in excess of $1 trillion.
“What’s unique about Bridges is that you have more than just a room full of leaders and innovators from the world’s biggest companies,” said Aaron Sasson, CEO of GT Nexus. “These companies also share a common cloud platform to run their respective global supply chains, all benefitting from one another’s presence in the network. Therefore, they are quite vested, which makes the conference valuable, compelling and somewhat unique. This is a powerful community that is driving technology innovation into one of the biggest, most complex industries on the planet.”
The prevailing theme at Bridges is Cloud Supply Chain and how it is rapidly becoming the enabler for global, inter-company commerce and operational agility. The bulk of the event content is being delivered by executives representing the large multi-national corporations across industry verticals.
The event keynote will be delivered by Tony Prophet, Senior Vice President Operations, Printer and Personal Systems Group at Hewlett Packard. Other speakers include executives from Sears, Lenovo, Del Monte, Cargill, Adidas, Kraft Foods, Pfizer, Starbucks, Li & Fung and many more.
Bridges is also the forum where the GT Nexus Shipper Council recognizes industry partners for their efforts in driving technology excellence at a community-wide level.
