Green Supply Chain

If you need evidence of the corporate community paying attention to the greening movement, look no further than this article linked here, which indicates larger international companies are more interested in going green.
Even more interesting, the article references a report of a survey of 350 companies in the U.K. asking about green issues. It says 87 percent of the responding companies call global warming "a commercial risk" while 80 percent called it "a commercial opportunity." Whether that indicates the corporate world is truly interested in protecting the environment on a par with value generation remains to be seen, but CEOs clearly have the issue on their minds.
