Strategic Supply Management - Recommended Reading
May 14, 2008
My business book library continues to grow, and one of the latest, fine additions is Strategic Supply Management: Creating the Next Source of Competitive Advantage by Robert J. Trent, PhD.
Bob Trent is Supply Chain Management Program Director at Lehigh University. Unlike most professors, Bob has had substantial industrial experience in addition to his strong academic and research credentials. He has written a lot of articles, and co-authored a number of prior books.
I recommend Strategic Supply Management to any supply management professional, and especially to those who have enjoyed reading Straight to the Bottom Line®. This is a great companion book to Straight. In fact, Amazon.com currently “pairs” Strategic Supply Management and Straight to the Bottom Line into a special package with a great price.
