Personalize Your Supply Chain News
February 6, 2008
There’s one other source you should know about—a source that combines feeds from more than 200 entities and tailors the material based on what information is of interest to you. This personalized news source is called SupplyChainDaily.com, www.supplychaindaily.com.
It’s a joint effort of Supply Chain Management Review and two of our sister publications here at Reed Business Information, Logistics Management and Modern Materials Handling. Basically, SupplyChainDaily.com allows you to receive news and information in six supply chain-related subject areas: supply chain management, sourcing and procurement, transportation and logistics, materials handling, manufacturing, and general business.
Personalization technology lets you to enter keywords and other information that narrows down the information you receive. Each day, you receive a daily news update (or i-mail) of relevant news items. If you like an item, you tell the system you want more of the same. If you don’t like something or it’s not relevant, you can turn thumbs down and won’t receive any more like it.
We launched SupplyChainDaily.com over a year ago and already more than 16,000 users have signed up. It’s a convenient way to get the supply chain news you need to know delivered every morning to your computer. Oh, and did I mention it’s free.
Give it a try at www.supplychaindaily.com.
