IoT Will Be Hot Topic in 2017

A flurry of announcements made recently suggest companies of all sizes will be quick to adopt new supply chain technologies

As noted in 24/7, SAP's IoT is being enhanced to “enable” live business.

In an interview with SCMR, Hans Thalbauer, SVP, Extended Supply Chain and Internet of Things at SAP noted that “the internet of things is transforming business models among all sizes around the world.”

He added that it will take a “bold commitment to redefine IT in the enterprise space to truly run live.”

While we are not prepared to make any early predictions for 2017 quite yet, most industry analysts agree that IoT will remain a hot topic.
