E2open Completes Acquisition of Amber Road

Combination facilitates end-to-end management from source to omni-channel fulfillment from one cloud-based solution

E2open announced that it successfully completed its acquisition of Amber Road, Inc. The two companies will operate as one under the E2open name.

Amber Road, a leading provider of on-demand Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions, automates import and export processes enabling smoother flow of goods across international borders in an efficient, compliant and profitable manner. Amber Road's trade content is sourced from government agencies and transportation providers and curated for over 170 countries providing The Premier Global Trade Network for more than 800 global customers.

The combination of E2open and Amber Road will allow customers to operate their entire end-to-end supply chain – from sourcing to manufacturing to trade management to logistics and distribution to omni-channel operations – from one place in the cloud. Specifically, the addition of Amber Road's solutions will extend E2open's portfolio with:

* Rich trade content information services to improve sourcing and procurement decisions to lower costs and improve availability.

* Integrated trade management solutions to automate import and export processes.

* Extensive duty deferral and free trade agreement management solutions to better leverage national trade promotion initiatives across the globe and improve margins.

* A complementary network of global trade partners with customs filing capabilities to streamline global trade.
