  • Almost 2/3 of respondents see the ability to increase productivity, output, and up-time (running machines at night, on weekends, and holidays) as the top benefits of lights out manufacturing.
  • The biggest hurdles to the widespread deployment of lights out manufacturing are cost of implementation and capital expenditure, followed by the risk of undetected quality issues. Labor union or employee concerns were noted by 42% of respondents.
  • In the next 2 years, 16% of respondents are very likely to implement Lights Out Manufacturing
