Brambles acquires LeanLogistics

Australian-based transportation company, Brambles Ltd., has acquired LeanLogistics, a provider of technology for transportation and supply chain management. “LeanLogistics provides on-demand network optimization solutions to more than 40o corporations, including many in the fast-moving consumer goods sector with a network in excess of 4,000 transporters,” says Mike Ihlein, CEO of Brambles. Kevin Shuba, group president of Brambles U.S. company, CHEP Americas, notes that the acquisition will enhance the company’s customer service offering in the United States.More from the Technology Briefing enewsletter:
