Office Depot to Employ Hubspan Software

Office Depot will be using on-demand integration software from Hubspan, Inc., to improve customer service integration requirements, according to a release from Hubspan.
The new software, according to Hubspan, will help the office retail giant improve its e-commerce capability. In addition, the company hopes to improve on-time deliveries, order accuracy, purchasing automation and other benefits.
“Office Depot is committed to delivering innovative solutions, as we continually look to enhance shared business processes within our diverse customer community,” said Glenn Trommer, Director of E-Commerce and Implementation Services for Office Depot. “Hubspan extends our e-commerce capability, making it simpler for our customers to do business with us.”
Hubspan said its integration platform will utilize software-as-a-service(SaaS) systems, meaning the company will allow Office Depot to host software applications and data on private, off-site servers. The release said Hubspan's SaaS system will increase response time, eliminate manual work and shorten cycle times.
“With Hubspan’s ability to drive seamless business-level connectivity despite differences in processes and back-end systems, Office Depot can continue their leadership as a customer-centric supplier,” said Trisha Gross, President and CEO for Hubspan. “Hubspan allows Office Depot’s customers to enjoy shared, secure and reliable partner connections that scale on demand.”
The new system will work across multiple platforms, to accommodate Office Depot's need to collaborate with businesses which use different systems but need to share data.
