With spring just around the corner, it's a good time to start thinking about getting in shape. In physical terms, we all pretty much know what that entails (though knowing and actually doing are two entirely different things, as I can attest). But in a supply chain context, what does "fitness" entail? The feature articles in our March issue help answer the question. Sure, the strength-building tactics and strategies described in this issue take some effort. But as the physical fitness gurus seem to delight in reminding us, "No pain, no gain."
